A First Look at SS27

Yesterday we spent the day at BayHaus Studios in Sausalito shooting the first images for SS27, and it was one of those days that makes a collection feel real.

Ruby was our model, photographed by Melissa McCardle, with makeup by Katie Nash. Having the collection on a person, in a space, and in front of the camera for the first time is always a little bit of a milestone — suddenly all the pieces, fabrics, colors, and ideas that have been living in my head start to have a life of their own.

SS27 brings together two new prints alongside a custom woven jacquard satin developed from a third pattern. The jacquard is fully tonal and intentionally understated, letting the texture and weave create the interest rather than adding another color or print.

The palette is earthy and warm: mustardy gold, espresso, clay, ivory, and sage. There’s something familiar about these colors, but together they feel fresh for the collection.

I’m sharing just a small glimpse from yesterday for now — enough to give you a sense of where we’re headed, without giving too much away. There’s still plenty more to come.
